The Essex County in the Park Industrial Development Agency (Essex County I.D.A. is a not for profit whose mission is to create and encourage a viable business atmosphere that will attract compatible, diverse and sustainable economic development opportunities, focusing on major assets, retention and expansion projects to improve the quality of life through job creation.  The Essex County I.D.A. is a resource for new and expanding businesses, and can assist by providing access to the following business development resources:

 

  • Business Plan Development

  • Labor - resources and training

  • Access to Economic Development Business Financing Programs (Eligible use of funds include:  working capital, equipment and machinery, real estate, inventory, and other justifiable business purposes)

  • Access to Economic Incentive Programs

  • Inventory of available commercial buildings and sites
