SNOW BOWL PROGRESS

A new triple chairlift is being installed at the North Creek Ski Bowl, servicing 150' vertical feet.  The terrain will offer family-friendly skiing and riding on the green-circle "Village Slope" as well as terrain park with half-pipe to add to the tubing fun!

IMPROVING THE SKIING PRODUCT

Major snowmaking upgrades included three new pumps will increase capacity and efficienty, while opening more terrain earlier in the season.  In addition, another new groomer (the fourth in just three seasons) will provide an even strong fleet for maintaining the mountain's superior conditions.

 

BASE AREA UPGRADES

In addition to the new Northwood Lodge and the improved Base Lodge, an additional parking lot for the upcoming season will offer more guests a convenient arrival and departure

 

BURNT RIDGE MOUNTAIN

Schedule to open in December 2008 Gore Mountain has begun developing one of its best pods of skiing and riding on Burnt Ridge Mountain. The terrain will feature five new trails, totaling approximately six miles.  The Burnt Ridge expansion will increase Gore Mountain's vertical drop to 2,300' and add about 60 acres of skiing, with a blend of Intermediate and expert terrain serviced by a high-speed quad.
   
 

 

 

 

  NEW NORTHWOODS LODGE BY LINCOLN LOGS MAKE 2007/2008 THE BEST SEASON TO LEARN AT GORE

Gore Mountain unveils a landmark development for the 2007/2008 snow season, the new Northwoods Lodge by Lincoln Logs.  Built in classic Adirondack Great Camp style, the Northwoods Lodge will add convenience and improved service for every Gore Mountain guests.

Upon arrival, your family's needs are easily satisfied in one location.  Purchase your lesson tickets and fit your rental equipment while securing your children in either our greatly expanded Kids Klub or our Bear Cub  Den Daycare.  Then head right out the door to your own lesson program and take some well-deserved time to enjoy the slopes.

With our new Northwood Lodge, getting your children set for their day in Kids Klub will be easy.  Indoor spaces for our children's programs has doubled, giving kids more space to play and get ready for lessons.  When it's time to go outside, children will be escorted by their instructor to the Snow Train conveyor lift (recently lengthened to 100') or the Poma lift, both right outside the door, to star their fun.  Both lifts are located on Bear Cub Run, a newly regraded and widened slop to offer the ideal beginner experience.  When ready to advance to higher terrain, the Sunway Chair, offering a midway station and access to more challenging beginner tails, is immediately adjacent.

While beginners and families will enjoy the convenience of the new facility, guests heading right to the slopes will benefit from 7500 sq. ft. of remodeled space in the Base Lodge!  Due to the relocation of rentals, Kids Klub, and daycare to the new Nortwhood Lodge, guests will find more seating, lockers ,hooks, and storage space in the Base Lodge.
